AMI is currently participating with parent company FMI Corporation in the A/E/C Futures Research Project. This project is being conducted in 2009 with the input of key leaders from architecture, engineering, construction and related firms, as well as a broader base of industry stakeholders. The goal of the project is twofold: first, to determine future trends affecting the A/E/C industry through 2030 and their implications, and secondly, to produce four future scenarios designed for use as strategic and scenario planning tools. Individuals, institutions and corporate bodies will use this information for strategic planning efforts, and to navigate our collective interests through an uncertain future.
The research results will be presented on October 29, 2009 at the Many Skylines workshop in Chicago. For more information about the workshop visit A/E/C Futures Research Project.
